1. Cheese-in New Leads:
Why has this contest been chosen for September? Cheese Pizza Day, September 5
Goal: Award reps for the fastest lead response time.
Duration: 1 week, divide your sales team into 2
Winner: The team that gets the fastest response and is also able to revert quickly wins.
Rewards: The winning team will get coupons for a popular pizza outlet so they can enjoy their pizza party together.
Points: 10 points to be given to the team who’s able to quickly revert to the lead. Different reward points for how quickly a lead has responded and how fast the team has reverted to them (e.g. 5 points for leads responded to in <8 hours, 3 points 8-24 hours, 1 point >24 hours).
2. Skimming the Leads:
Why has this contest been chosen for September? Chocolate Milkshake Day, September 12th
Goal: To generate maximum leads in a given time frame for example giving teams a 1-hour time frame to generate the maximum number of leads.
Duration: 1 week, divide your sales team into 2
Winner: The team which successfully generates the maximum number of leads within the assigned time frame wins.
Rewards: Office milkshake party for the winning team and a voucher for a local diner known for their delicious milkshakes.
Points: 10 points per generated lead
3. Discovering the Treasure Lead:
Why has this contest been chosen for September? (International Talk Like a Pirate Day, September 19th).
Goal: Generate maximum leads for a new product launch. In Pirate themed contest, you can provide the participants with pirate hats and eye patches.
Duration: 1 week
Winner: The participant who’s able to generate the most leads within a week will be declared the winner.
Rewards: A treasure box filled with goodies and various small and big prizes.
Points: 10 points per generated lead
4. Sales Therapist:
Why has this contest been chosen for September? (World Physical Therapy Day, September 8).
Goal: Encourage the sales team to book maximum meetings within a week.
Duration: 1 week, divide your sales team into two.
Winner: The team who’s able to book maximum meetings wins the contest.
Reward: The winning team gets an opportunity to get consultation and therapy sessions from a chiropractor to improve their well being.
Points: 20 points per booked meeting.
5. Plant the Lead:
Why has this contest been chosen for September? (National Forest Martyrs Day, September 11).
Goal: A power-packed hour where a rep will be judged based on the calls they make in that particular time frame, ex calling the maximum number of leads within 1 hour.
Duration: 1 week, daily activity.
Winner: The team who’s able to make maximum calls within the given hour will be declared the winner.
Rewards: Small indoor plants for the winner and a hamper consisting of nature-based beauty products and essentials.
Points: 10 points per call.
6. Finish the Work:
Why has this contest been chosen for September? (Finishing the tasks quickly).
Goal: Contest created to motivate reps for completing the tasks that are related to an opportunity
Duration: 1 week
Winner: The rep who’s able to complete all the tasks that are related to an opportunity will win the contest.
Rewards: Free lunch, movie tickets and some cool goodies.
Points: 5 points per completed task.
7. Educate the Clients:
Why has this contest been chosen for September? (Teacher’s Day, 5 September).
Goal: To set up a maximum face to face meetings.
Duration: 2 weeks
Winner: The rep who’s able to book the maximum number of face to face meetings with clients wins the contest.
Rewards: The rep who’s able to book maximum face to face meetings will win an iPhone 11
Points: 20 points per meeting booked.
8. What a Pitch!
Why has this contest been chosen for September? (Miniature Golf Day, 21 September)
Goal: Contest set up around judging a rep based on the sales pitch they are giving for a new product
Duration: 1 week
Winner: The rep who gives the most impressive pitch for a new product launch wins the contest.
Rewards: A gift voucher to a local bowling valley.
Points: Participants will be marked out of 10, the participants who receive the highest number will be declared the winner, for example, 9/10 or 4/10. Depending on the pitch. The judgement will be taken by the sales manager and the CEO
