8 Sales Contests for November

As a sales manager, you're constantly trying to keep your sales team motivated. One of the best ways to do that is to run some exciting and engaging sales contests for them. You can design these contests around different KPIs and set different themes. This allows you to inject new enthusiasm into your team every time they have to achieve a target.
In this blog, we’ve brought to you, some short contests (1-week duration) with exciting themes that you can run in the month of November. You can run these as part of a larger contest, or as individual ones.
1. Black Friday Bonanza
Why has this contest been chosen for November? Black Friday.
Goal - To find the maximum number of leads every day, for 1 week. Winners are declared every day.
Duration - 1 week.
Rewards - Reward a $25 gift card to the winner of the day. Then, award a larger gift card to the week-long winner.
Points - 10 points per lead.
2. Stuffing Sales
Why has this contest been chosen for November? Thanksgiving.
Goal - To achieve the target percentage of closed-won opportunities in one week.
Duration - 1 week.
Rewards - The winners will get a turkey delivered to their house for Thanksgiving!
Points - The participants who complete their target win the contest.

3. Get the Cashew’s
Why has this contest been chosen for November? National Cashew Day.
Goal - To conduct the highest number of demos in 1 week.
Duration - 1 week.
Rewards - Gift a Cashew Nuts box to the top 3 salespeople who have run the most number of demo calls.
Points - 10 points per demo call.
4. Espresso Reviews
Why has this contest been chosen for November? National Espresso Day.
Goal - The goal is to earn the best customer reviews.
Duration - 1 week.
Rewards - All the sales reps who earn 3 best reviews from the customers get vouchers to their favorite coffee shop
Points - 10 points per best review.
5. Trendy Deals
Why has this contest been chosen for November? National Shopping Reminder Day.
Goal - To win the most coveted deal.
Duration - 1 week.
Rewards - Reward the winners with a shopping voucher for the forthcoming Christmas
Points - 50 points per deal.
6. Toaster in the team
Why has this contest been chosen for November? National French Toast Day.
Goal - The goal is to get the most number of prospects
Duration - 1 week.
Rewards - Order yummy french toast for the winner and include the toppings of her choice, and celebrate with the team!
Points - 5 points for each prospect.
Theme - Run the contest for 1 week and declare the winner every day based on the most number of points earned.
7. Endless Referrals
Why has this contest been chosen for November? National Book Lovers Day.
Goal - To get as many referrals as they can in 1-week.
Duration - 1 week.
Rewards - Reward the winner with the ‘Endless Referrals’ book by Bob Burg. Or gift a book according to the winner’s choice.
Points - 10 points per referral. The person with the highest total score at the end of the contest period will be declared as the winner.
8. Crave for Leads
Why has this contest been chosen for November? National Cake Day.
Goal - The goal is to double the leads in 1 week.
Duration - 1 week.
Rewards - Reward the winner with the cake that she loves the most. It would be exciting if you present the cake to her during office hours. This would motivate the others in the office to earn a cake for themselves too!
Theme - Take the number of leads that the sales reps achieved in the earlier week. Ask them to double that number in the next 1 week. Whoever accomplishes this goal should be chosen as the winners.
